Make 2007 About Exceptional Service

A new year is here and you are undoubtedly making some resolutions. Here are some ideas to make 2007 your best year yet.

Earn your customers trust - Offer immediate and honest answers. Instead of evading customers' questions provide direct answers even if you have to admit a mistake.
Make every second count - Don't use customers' valuable time to complain about how busy you are or how long your day has been. Instead with every customer, ask yourself: "What can I do to make this customer's experience better?"
Offer your customer more - Take customers' experiences to new heights by going the extra, unexpected, mile. Locate a hard-to-find item for them, offer to warp and/or mail products. Be considerate of their time; call at the time they specified not when you are free.
Offer additional benefits - Don't wait for customers to hand over coupons or bring up promotions. Don't ignore specials because customers fail to mention them. Instead, surprise customers with discounts or freebies when they least expect it.
Follow up - Send customers short, but personal, thank you notes within a week after they make purchases. Write as if you are writing to one person as opposed to writing a generic letter to all your customers.

Cirque du Soleil Presents “Corteo”

Cirque du Soleil returns to Atlanta Dec. 15 - Jan. 21 under the grand blue-and-yellow Chapiteau in Atlantic Station. Corteo, which means "cortege" in Italian, is a joyous procession, a festive parade imagined by a clown.
